ONE:PLACE:TWO Chelsea staff show 2014

After the success of last year’s ‘all in one place’, the staff exhibition at Chelsea is back for its second year. ‘ONE:PLACE:TWO’ celebrates the range of practices, skills and talents on display across the campus staff at Millbank.

Open from Friday 31st January to Wednesday 5th February, this show displays the wide range of practices across all university staff, including Academic, Administrative, Commercial, Catering, Facilities, Library, Management, Research and Technical.

Flying Ducks (2006)

Found, discarded or forgotten objects are collected and stored and reworked and resurrected into new memories and contexts. Defunct objects are juxtaposed to create a new unusual picturesque Muriel made from his late grandfather’s flying ornamental ducks and a section of reclaimed hoarding.

Various found 'home' Internet video footage was captured between 22 -30 June 2006, the found footage has been reworked into a new narrative that leads the viewer through a uncanny maze of international domesticity.
